Objective
FTG manufactures cockpit display systems and electronic components. The requirement was for aQuality Control manager who was very experienced with the manufacturing of printed circuit boards and who could bring a new level of discipline and standardization to the manufacturing process.
Proposal
As there are many printed circuit board companies in the general Los Angeles area, our proposal was to limit our search to companies and individuals in this area. Our goal is always to provide the client with a range of candidates with varying experience and compensation requirements, to enable the client to make a value decision that optimizes experience and budgetary issues.
Process
Kathbern surveyed a wide range of relevant companies in the area, approaching employed individuals with the required background to seek their interest in a new position that could offer: a) higher compensation, b) a more promising career path and/or c) a more convenient location.
Results
Within a month, we presented the client with a list of several promising candidates and within a few weeks, the list was narrowed to one. An offer was made to the successful candidate and was accepted.
