Objective
Greenpark Homes is a large residential property developer. The Chief Financial Officer was looking to add an accountant with real estate experience to his team.
Proposal
Kathbern worked with Greenpark’s CFO to clearly establish the requirements for the role and summarize these in a job outline. Real estate experience and an accounting designation would be essential.
Process
Kathbern targeted individuals with accounting designations who were working in the real estate industry. This was supplemented by replies to on-line advertising. The compensation offered was average, so it was also important to screen out candidates whose income requirements were beyond the scope of this position.
Results
A short-list of candidates who met the requirements for experience, education and income expectations were presented to the client for interviews. One candidate was selected to receive an offer and, after offer presentation, acceptance and reference checks, this person joined the Greenpark Homes team.
