Objective
CURT Manufacturing is based in Wisconsin and had recently opened a Toronto area warehouse and distribution centre. The requirement was for a Warehouse Manager who would also serve as site manager as the most senior local employee.
Proposal
Responding to CURT’s request, Kathbern’s role was to generate a long list of candidates that Curt could screen by phone before settling on a short-list for face to face interviews in Toronto.
Process
Kathbern conducted a search of the Greater Toronto area for candidates with warehouse / distribution centre management experience. This was supplemented with on-line advertising. Approximately 20 candidates were identified for CURT’s screening process, of which four were selected for in person interviews. Kathbern coordinated the scheduling.
Results
As a result of this two-stage process, CURT was able to identify an individual who best fit their criteria and an offer was prepared and accepted.
